If you were like me, Smashmill is a hard pill to swallow when you don't know exactly how to use it.

The process is simple, really.

Start off with a Smash attack and charge Windmill right after the Smash icon disappears.
(you should know how to do this if you've worked out Ice-Counter)

Then, with Windmill charge, center the cursor UNDER your character and click like a madman when the enemy gets close.
(Note that the enemy may land a hit on you due to lag - have Mana Shield charged as a measure to protect yourself from the damage of an enemy attack)

Once the Windmill is completed, you'll be able to start the process again in order to inflict damage on the enemy while taking a minimum of damage from them. Works best on single aggro monsters, but can be useful for targeting the larger foes in a large enemy group. Just watch for multi-aggro.

great for golems best used with a pet.

That depends. Depending on your pet AI scheme, using a pet might be a bad idea because of timing constraints.
One slip and you could wind up paste on the ground from a golem.

I find this usually works on large boss types that try to flank you rather then running up.

yes u just have to time ur strikes to coincide with ur pets so u dont interrupt the golems animation of course if ur rly good u dont need a pet.... im not there tho so dont ask for a demo Embarassed besides ill just ... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] lol!

I am stuck getting past the counterattack/windmill. Should I try that same technique? Also as of latest update I haven't been able to log onto server. Keep getting message that: Cannot log on at this time the FTP server is too busy. Try again later.

no counter attack wm is very different. it is automaticly executed after it is loaded and being attacked after being knocked back. it is relatively difficult to explain but easy once you know what it is. the best method i can tell u is try to be muli-aggrod by something that does not hurt much (I.E 1-5 dmg per hit) mimics will prolly work best here as u can use a mount to "open" them once u dismount they will all aggro u at the same time. stand in the middle of the room and try to wm them after they knock u down. try this with three at most to see if u can handle it. mimics even tho they are weak can still kill in groups.
